help or not to help....

Have you ever thought that your decision was wrong?
You decided to help someone and then you had problems yourselve??

If yes - you are not alone. I have it often. My inability to say 'No, I can't, or I'd love to help you but it's inconvenient for me ' makes me sick. I frequently consider how to do this... but when I see someone in need or when someone ask me for help I just cannot refuse especially when I like the person. It's the same today.

I even started to doubt whether I finish my studies or not, because I always put others above my resposibilities - UNI. Then I can't look at my teachers eyes... I know I heve failed again...

So how to be a person of success rather than failer???

Teaching Practice

I have to say that i love it. I started teaching 2 years ago... No it is not true... I started when I was 19... by Callan method.- interesting experience. 2 years ago I started to teach children by Helen Doron Early English and in September 2010 I started teaching the future paramedics in Medical school. I enjoy both of them... maybe because they are completely different.

Children have so much energy, we jump, sing, dance and play games. We are like one family. The tremendous impact had on me once one mother who said: ' Ms Alicja in such a short time you have become the very important part of our family'. It is flattering but it also gives a lot of motivation.

the paramedics... completely different sort of teaching. the second year had English with the other teacher so I was always being compared to the previous teacher... because I'm more strict.
However, the first year is so much different. Especially my Tuesdays group, they are fantastic.  We have relaxed atmosphere, but we do a lot and learn a lot.

I agree that when you have let them go... it is very difficult. We as teachers give lot... we give the part of ourselves...

my childhood friend

It is me... when I was around 5 years old. and I was blond...

The picture was taken in Duszniki Zdrój where my grandma lives. It is there that I have had the friend of my childhood. Karolina was visiting her grandma as well. She comes from Wadowice and we used to spend hours playing ping pong and drinking mineral water in the Zdrój. I don't have any contact with her any longer but she was very clever and had so lovely accent. I could have never understood what kind of 'pole' did she mean when she was asking " idziemy na pole?" It was just a little difference that was rather a cherry on the top of the pie.

Maybe next time when  I'll be in Duszniki Zdrój I ask her grandma about the number....

Thx for this assignment... Memories are what one can be happy of....
